What health care should learn from Uber and How Government Regulations and Licensing Hurt You

Here is a great essay by John Cochrane.

It provides good microeconomic and political insight about why Government's and Unions' claims that the regulations and licensing they advocate to help you are more likely to hurt you, especially if you are low income.

There are plenty of state programs that try and facilitate the poor. however sadly several different government actions that just do the alternative. Therefore, they see new entrants to the market as competitors instead of job creators and sometimes act to squash, instead of encourage competition.

Health care is still struggling to get out of the 20th century. It desperately needs to Uberize.Hope UBER will support us soon for the health care. These are all serious obstacles to delivering the experience health care consumers want.
